Crystal Dynamics, the developer of the upcoming ‘Marvel’s Avengers’ unveiled the all-new trailer for the much-anticipated game. The game’s main storyline is based on the catastrophic events of A-Day, post which the team was disbanded as they were blamed for a deadly virus wreaking havoc. The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One & PC.

The trailer also revealed the game’s main protagonist to be M.O.D.O.K which stands for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. He along with his villainous organization AIM (Advanced Idea Mechanics), has taken over the streets with their killer robots and is hatching an evil scheme to rid the earth of superpowers completely. A new Avenger & co-op mode

Additionally, the trailer also shows a surprise playable character and possibly the main protagonist of the story to be Ms. Marvel a.k.a. Kamala Khan. She is the one who discovers that the Avengers were wrongfully blamed for the destruction. Playing a major role in getting the Avengers back together, the team looks to put an end to AIM and M.O.D.O.K’s schemes.

A 30-minute gameplay livestream was also unveiled recently, which showed how exactly you will be able to navigate through the game. Another exciting announcement was the Co-Op mode ‘War Zones’ where you can play with up to 4 players or solo with other characters as AI. Take a Look:

Another great bit of news was provided by Gary Snethen, CTO of Crystal Dynamics. He has been at the forefront of developing the Marvel’s Avengers game. With the announcement of the PS5, his team and he have worked very hard. He wants to ensure the Future PS5 owners get the best out of this game.

Exciting news for PS4 owners

On June 24, he said “At Crystal Dynamics, we are gamers and we have a gamer-first mentality. We want to make it easy for Marvel’s Avengers players to enjoy the additional features PS5 brings to the game. Therefore, we’re happy to announce that when you purchase Marvel’s Avengers for the PS4 platform, either digitally or on disc, and later upgrade to a PS5, you get the PS5 version of the game with all of its enhancements free of charge! “

This bit of news was lauded by fans all over the world. Gary also mentions how excited he was about the exceptional performance the PS5 offers. He says “The GPU and CPU improvements on PS5 are exciting, but even more exciting is the introduction of an ultra-high speed SSD with lightning fast load speeds.”
