BANGALORE (Reuters) – Morning drizzle delayed the start of the second day’s play in the second test between India and South Africa at Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.

After the early morning showers relented, start was pushed back by an hour to 10:30 local time (0500 GMT) and the players walked out to warm up for action.

The drizzle, however, returned soon after, bringing the covers back on the pitch and further delaying the start.

Hosts India, who lead the four-match series 1-0, will resume on 80 for no loss after South Africa scored 214 all out in their first innings.
