Ravi Shastri Answers His Critics with a Straight Bat

Ravi Shastri, the head coach of the India, has been trolled many times for a couple of reasons. Last year, he seen coming out of the team bus with a bottle of beer in hand and  fans didn’t leave him. However,  during the third and final test between India and South Africa, he was seen taking a nap and his sleeping picture went viral in no time. Everyone started bashing him with various comments.

However, Ravi Shastri seemed to be cool with all these comments as he said he is least bothered about the incident. When he was asked about him sleeping, he replied mid-day, “Enjoy, Enjoy….I don’t care what people say. I don’t miss a single ball.”

Ravi Shastri has been enjoying a great time with the Indian cricket team. Under his tenure, India are currently on the top of the points table of the ICC World Test Championship with 240 points. Recently, Virat Kohli led India became the first team to registerter win in 11 Test series at home in a row, surpassing Australia.

India completely outplayed South Africa and won the final Test by an innings and 202 runs. They even won the series by 3-0. Before this series, India also thrashed the West Indies by 2-0 at their backyard. Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of the home series due to injury, but Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami did the job.

India will play against Bangladesh in the two-match home series which will begin on November. Ahead of that, they will play three T20Is against Bangladeh which will start from November 3 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
