Renee Young Recalls Unpleasant Moment With Triple H

Last week, it was reported that WWE presenter, host, and interviewer Renee Young would be making her departure from the company. After much speculation, Renee confirmed that she would be leaving WWE after eight years of service.

SummerSlam became the last WWE Pay-Per-View that Renee worked. After that, she appeared on The Bump and uploaded an Instagram post dedicated to her fans and friends. While she was on her journey down the memory lane, she recalled an “unpleasant” encounter with Triple H.

Triple H, WWE Hall of Famer and Executive Vice President of Talent Development, took to Twitter and thanked Renee for all she has done for the company.

In turn, Renee posted a hilarious reply about the time when he was NOT “great” to her. A few years ago, Triple H called out Renee for not wearing shoes in a backstage interview.

The Open Letter to WWE

Renee penned down an emotional letter to her company on The Players Tribune. She had only nice things to say for everyone, especially Triple H.

She said, “Hunter, to me — he represents this idea of progress in WWE. He’s always pushing talent in the direction of opportunity, and in the direction of something new. You see it first and foremost in his work with NXT, and just the way he’s built that brand into one of the most exciting things in wrestling right now.”

She penned this emotional letter because she loved her job, and “nothing beats a love letter.”

Renee previously stated that there was no definite reason for her leaving the company and her beloved fans behind. She wants to explore more things because “you only get so many lifetimes.”

Even though fans are disheartened to see Renee Young go, they are happy she will embark on a new and hopefully fantastic journey soon!
