That news broke about a month ago now, and it looks like ImAPet is set to land another gig already. Reports in dbltap.com suggest he is set to join the 100 Thieves’ CS: GO team soon.

100 Thieves are still finding their feet in CS: GO, having acquired the Renegades roster just last year. They were missing from the CSGO competitive scene for about two years previous to that. If the reports are true and ImAPet does join 100 Thieves, he will surely bring some much-needed experience to the roster. His stint with Evil Geniuses was far from ideal, but he did oversee some successful ventures with the team in his two years there.

Success with Evil Geniuses

Under Chet’s watch, EG managed to rise to the very top of the HLTV global CSGO rankings, albeit briefly. This was a direct result of their win at ESL One: New York 2019 and the StarSeries & i-League CS: GO Season 8.

After a poor start to 2020, Evil Geniuses did manage to qualify for the playoffs at the ESL Pro League Season 11: North America. However, soon after that, ImAPet resigned due to his differences with Tarik “tarik” Celik and Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz.

It remains to be seen if he does indeed join up with 100 Thieves as the reports suggest. Keep watching this space for further updates.
