Roger Federer Launches ‘New Logo’ After Regaining His Previous ‘RF Logo’

Switzerland’s Roger Federer is best known for the tennis produced over the years. Even after almost two decades near the helm of the sport, his elegance in his shot-making remains unmatched. As compared to other players, he has an artistic approach to commanding the court. 

Since 2006, Roger had sported the ‘RF’ logo on his Nike apparel. The deal worked out very successfully as almost every Federer fan-owned a product that sported the ‘RF’ logo on it. However, back in 2018, Roger shocked the world when he stepped on the Centre Court at Wimbledon wearing the Uniqlo apparel for his opening round match.

Due to legalities, Nike retained the rights to the ‘RF’ logo. Just a week ago, Roger Federer received the rights of his ‘RF’ logo after over two years. Hearing that news did bring joy to the Federer family. Recently, the Swiss star launched another logo, which was even simpler than the previous one.

It goes with a capital R followed by a period. The move led to questions of whether the former Wimbledon champion wants to launch his own clothing line.

In the past year, the 20-time Grand Slam Champion launched his own range of sneakers, ‘The Roger’ in partnership with Uniqlo. It’s interesting to see that in recent years Federer has taken a keen interest in fashion. In the past, he has often said that he likes getting involved with the designs for his gear towards the upcoming tournaments. 

It doesn’t come as a surprise. The manner in which Federer carries himself, both on and off the court, is quite stylish. Another factor is that the former world no. 1 is considered as one of the greatest marketable athletes in the world. He endorses brands such as Rolex, Mercedes, Wilson, Lindt to name a few.

“Excited For What’s To Come”: Roger Federer on Brand New ATP Campaign

Speaking of his association with footwear, Roger sports the Nike brand. However, he could to sport his own range sooner rather than later. He certainly knows how to market himself. It’ll be interesting to see how Roger arrives on the court at the Australian Open in 2021.
