On Wednesday, the online streaming platform Netflix took to Twitter to remember Rohit Sharma’s stunning 264-run knock. They tweeted, “Someone make a superhero series about Rohit Sharma’s 264 where all his sixes hit someone in the ground and they get superpowers. 10/10 would watch.”

However, Rohit Sharma also replied to Netflix’s tweet by saying, “Coming Soon..” The tweet by the ‘Hitman’ was enough to leave the fans in surprise and they started speculating of a probable series featured on their favourite player which will produce by Netflix.

As far as Rohit Sharma’s 264-knock is concerned, he had smashed the Sri Lankan bowlers to all over the park during that match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. However, before making the record, he had got an early life. The stylish opener was dropped when he was batting on 4 by Thisara Perera at third man off Shaminda Eranga.

However, they had no clue back then that how costly it was going to be for them. The Mumbai batsman punished every bowler by dealing in big shots as the bowlers failed to restrict him in the middle. Sharma later went on to score a 173-ball 264 with a strike rate of 152.60 which included 33 boundaries and nine maximums. The knock will always be remembered as one of the finest knocks in the 50-over cricket.
