Ronda Rousey is one of the Pioneer of Women’s MMA and the conqueror of WWE. She has held the title both in UFC and in WWE, being the second athlete to do so after Brock Lesnar.

After Ronda Rousey lost her title to Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania, she has not made her comeback yet to pro wrestling. However, she has been trying her luck on the television now as she was one of the casts of the American TV series 9-1-1 as the firefighter Lena Bosko. Unfortunately, on the set of 9-1-1, arguably the baddest woman on the planet almost lost her finger in a horrifying accident.

Earlier Ronda Rousey took it to social media to share the grisly details of that accident with a horrifying image of her injured finger.

Ronda shared the details of the accident and said:

“Freak accident, first take of the day, all I had to do was pretty much open up this boat door and step out and had lines and all this stuff. I guess I was just a little bit too short to push the boat door all the way to the top, so I kind of had to give it a little bit of an oomph, like a push, and it either stalled at the top and came back down or it bounced back and came back down,” .

So the word is out I nearly lost my finger shooting. Freak accident, first take of the day a boat door fell on my hand, I thought I just jammed my fingers so I finished the take before looking (I know it sounds crazy, but I’m used to live audiences and never showing pain unless I’m supposed to) after a break in the action I told our director the situation and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital where they promptly reattached my bone and tendon with a plate and screws. I returned to filming the next day and finished my scenes before returning home to recover. Modern medicine amazes me, I already had 50% range of motion back in 3 days. There’s so much more than I can write here, stayed tuned via @rondarouseydotcom for the full story. And of course tune in to see how well I can act like my finger didn’t just fall off in this upcoming season of @911onfox

Even with the terribly injured finger, Ronda Rousey finished the scene before breaking it to the crews about her injury:

“But it was staying up enough for me to turn my back on it. I stepped out and the boat door slammed down. I thought I just jammed my nail … I was thinking ‘Ouch, f–k. Don’t be a p—y, just finish the scene.’ So I finished the scene.”

Ronda had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment after she told the director and crews about the injury. Rousey is recovering from the injury as she ahs bolts and screws that are keeping her middle finger attached. This was yet another story that proves that Ronda Rousey is an authentic badass.
