During the qualifying session of the Chinese GP 2019, there was a little bit of chaos as the Mercedes duo went out and backed up the entire top 10. Naturally, this threw off the drivers who were preparing for their final runs. But Sebastian Vettel took advantage of the concertina effect and sliced his way past three cars.

Among his victims were Max Verstappen, who went on an expletive-laden rant, Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo.

Verstappen, who was going unusually slow, was even passed by Hulkenberg. In the end, Sebastian Vettel finished the Q3 session in 3rd, behind the Mercedes pair. Completing the top 5 were Max Verstappen and Charles LeClerc respectively.
