Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel was in a prime position to get a decent run during the Spanish GP 2019. However, he did himself no favours when he got alongside Valtteri Bottas, only to lock up and compromise his line.

He tried to attack pole man Bottas again, but he only succeeded in forcing teammate Charles LeClerc wide. A gleeful Max Verstappen needed no second invitation and swooped into 3rd. Then, Vettel and LeClerc began to tussle while the other three got away, with Lewis Hamilton leading them.

However, Scuderia Ferrari finally intervened and told Vettel to swap places with LeClerc. So far, Lewis Hamilton is running away in the lead and teammate Bottas is chasing him in 2nd. Verstappen looks comfortable in 3rd with LeClerc and Sebastian Vettel struggling to make an impression.

So make matters worse for Sebastian Vettel, he locked up into the first turn and flatspotted his tyres
