Shroud Reveals How To Clutch In Valorant

Valorant is still in its closed-beta and already creating some hype before its release. The game is a 5v5 tactical shooter game, was dubbed to be the CS:GO, killer. The game has had a controversial beginning, with all the privacy issues surrounding its anti-cheat driver. Regardless of all that, Valorant defeated Fortnite with viewership on Twitch. Several pro players received access from Riot Games to test the game out.

Michael Grzesiek, popularly recognized as Shroud, is perhaps the world’s best gamer at the moment. While Shroud started playing Valorant, he tested out almost all the characters. We all know how fond he is of Jett and Raze. This time Shroud came out with a video where he played as Sova and showed us how to clutch games in tight situations. Ain’t nothing better than to watch and learn from the master of tricky scenarios!

To deal with a tight situation in any game requires focus, practice, and quick reflexes. Thanks to Shroud’s videos, we can have an idea of what it looks like. Within the fraction of a second, the enemy team swarms upon with an ability.

The good thing about using Sova as the main character is that you can hit an enemy without even spotting them. Sova’s ultimate ability is Hunter’s Fury, where he shoots up to three arrows, piercing all walls and blockades and reaching the enemy directly. Shroud puts this on display for us in the video several times. Use it wisely as the ultimate abilities take a little time to recharge. “It must feel so bad to die to Sova’s ult..I hate it, cause you know its coming and you still die“, said Shroud.

He also explained why movement is quite important, even when its done to confuse your opponent. Using every little detail possible to take the upper hand is what makes a gamer better than the rest.

This is a debatable topic, as several people are already negatively polarized against it. Firstly, CS:GO will always retain its place, regardless of whatever Valorant or other games throw at it. Moreover, the overprotective nature of the anti-cheat can be super problematic sometimes. 

However, it is most definitely going to make a niche of its own. Currently, all the top player are trying out their hand at Valorant. We will just have to wait and watch until the game releases.
