American tennis star Sloane Stephens has a fun way for all of us to get through the boring quarantine. The 27-year-old star hasn’t really been the big newsmaker in the past one year.

However, she is still someone who enjoys a great degree of popularity among fans. This is largely because of some terrific performances that are still fresh in popular memory. Notable among these are her Australian Open victory against Serena Williams and her title triumph at the US Open 2017.

Stephens took to Twitter to announce that she was launching a community phone number to interact with her legion of fans. The supporters could text her on the specified number to talk about anything under the sun.

“I know that social distancing can feel isolating so I wanted to find a way to help us all feel a little more connected. I created my own community phone number so we can talk about whatever you want and we can be there for each other.”

She also pre-empted that there would be a huge response. For this, she said this via her twitter account –

“I don’t know if I’ll be able to answer everyone but I’m gonna do my best! Hopefully, this makes it a little easier for all of us 💫 so text me (559) 550-4742. Can’t wait to hear from you guys 🤗. “

As per Stephens, you can talk to her about sports. You can also discuss when the sports season will presumably start. This can be a great opportunity for her fans to ask her interesting questions about her short but storied career.
