Soccer fans have something to celebrate again. Although the last in partnership with FIFA, EA FIFA 23 is going to be one of the biggest titles in the franchise’s history. According to reports EA Sports is planning to bring major updates to the modes of the game. The game has been one of the most played multiplayer through all modes of gaming.

Fans were asking for the women’s league to be a part of the gameplay for a long time. In February last year, EA made the announcement to bring women’s leagues into the game.

The game currently has a couple of women’s leagues, including the English Women’s Super League and Division 1 Feminine League from France. The game has seen a lot of upgrades over time since its release. Nonetheless, the upcoming feature is set to make the game the biggest ever. While the World Cup event had already put fans into a frenzy, the upcoming addition will see fans from the USA feel more connected to the game.

NWSL is coming in FIFA 23

Insider gaming news has reported that the NWSL feature is coming to the game in March. The addition of this game will allow users to play the league as one of the 12 clubs currently playing in the league. According to sources, they will set the release date of the NWSL feature around 15th of the March. Giving fans time to get a grasp of the addition before the 2023 season of NWSL starts.

Fans are excited to play teams they see dominate in reality. Teams like OL Reign and Angel city FC carry a lot of hype around them. Their addition to the game will lead to fans getting more attracted to the title. There are not any specifics disclosed yet but, it seems like fans have to wait some more for another feature they had been asking for a long time.

The future of EA Sports FC

FIFA 23 will mark the last title in the 29-year-long collaboration between EA Sports and FIFA. As that agreement ends, EA is scrambling to design a plan for the rebranding and sustainable product. Last year, EA decided that when the deal will end with FIFA, the title will be renamed to EA Sports FC. Meanwhile, FIFA announced they will partner with other 3rd party developers to keep the series going.

In a statement, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said, “ the only authentic, real game that has the FIFA name will be the best one available for gamers and football [soccer] fans. The FIFA name is the only global, original title. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26, and so on. The constant is the FIFA name and it will remain forever and remain the best.”

Fans do not know what to expect going in the future after the deal ends. However, they will surely look forward to playing the NWSL feature.
