March 6th is a big day for all NBA fans as Shaquille O’Neal celebrates his birthday. He was one of the most dominant basketball players in the world. The big center swatted away balls and made numerous buckets to win four NBA Championships. Birthday wishes poured in for the legendary player. Moreover, one of those wishes came from iconic soccer player David Beckham.

The former Manchester United player wished him by sharing an Instagram story with his kids. Previously, he had taken a photo with Shaq with his three kids- Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz. The photograph went viral and resurfaced once again for O’Neal’s birthday.

The legend celebrated his 51st birthday amidst much fanfare. In the story, we see Shaq dressed in a black blazer and t-shirt along with Beckham, who donned a white t-shirt. He captioned the story by stating, “Happy Birthday to the Big Man,” with a basketball emoji to the side. Along with them, Beckham’s three kids posed for the picture.

Notably, Beckham also tagged Shaq’s company, Authentic Brands Group, in the story. Known for his incredible marketing skills, Big Diesel is the second largest shareholder in the company. ABG takes over struggling retail companies and turns them around to make them profitable yet again. Fans know Shaq as a proper investor with unique insight for identifying the best companies in the world.

David Beckham and Shaquille O’Neal Labels’ Owner Splashes Whopping $1,300,000,000 in Surfing Industry

The closeness of Beckham and Shaq is unaware to most people. But they had a hilarious incident a few years back.

The famous wallet story

Once, Shaq strolled through the lavish streets of Beverly Hills and found Beckham’s wallet lying on the ground. He recalled how he took money from wallets if he saw them lying on the ground. When he checked the ID, Shaq couldn’t believe it was Becks.

He decided to play a prank on the English soccer superstar. Letting him know his wallet was under his custody and expecting him to pay 1 million dollars, Beck knew Shaq had played a prank. 

But David knew Shaq instantly and later picked it up. As most of us lose wallets, Beckham’s wife Victoria gifted him chains to stop him from losing them. It never worked! The bond the two sports celebrities share is beautiful, and we wish Big Diesel a happy 51st birthday!
