However, his interview with Piers Morgan didn’t go down well with the club, who mutually agreed with him for contract termination. Ronaldo also took to social media to announce his departure from the club. Hours after his announcement, Avram Glazer finally talked about the ongoing saga.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Red Devils last year from Juventus. Many labeled it as the homecoming of the 5X Balon d’Or winner. However, coach Erik ten Hag decided to bench Ronaldo and his tweaks worked as United remain in the top 5 ahead of the international break.

A Sky News reporter recently confronted United’s owner Avram Glazer and asked some important questions related to the sale of the club. He also asked about Ronaldo’s astonishing rant on the owners in his interview with Piers Morgan.

To this, Avram Glazer replied: “I’ll tell you about Cristiano Ronaldo.”

He continued: “He’s a great Manchester United player. I appreciate everything he’s done for the club, and I wish him the best of luck in the future.”
