Cristiano Ronaldo’s future has been up in the air since his contract terminated with Manchester United. United and Ronaldo had a bad relationship, and it all ended with a controversial interview with the player. CR7 did an interview with Piers Morgan, where he lashed out at the club for ‘betraying’ him. He also called out the club owners, manager, and a few former players. However, now that he is a free agent, several clubs are linked with signing him. But Paris Saint-Germain isn’t one of them.
Cristiano Ronaldo recently received a massive offer from a Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr on a 2.5-year deal. Many reports suggested that the players’ entourage has already accepted the proposal. However, Ronaldo recently denied any rumors about his transfer to a new club. Al Nassr is offering a whopping $500 million for 2.5 years.

PSG turn down a potential Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo union
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi responded to the Ronaldo rumors. He wished CR7 the best for the future but turned down signing him. Khelaifi also took a cheeky dig by mentioning Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar, who are already on the team’s roster.
“The three players that we have [Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe] it’s very difficult to think about Ronaldo,” Khelaifi said when asked about signing Ronaldo. “I wish him all the best. He’s fantastic and he’s still an amazing player.”

The way the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner turned on his own club will not be seen as a good sign for elite clubs in Europe. The last thing they want amidst their squad is a disruptor who could throw the team under the bus if things do not go according to his plans.
However, PSG is not the first top European club to turn him down. A few days ago, Bayern Munich ruled out the possibility of signing Ronaldo as well. However, he still has a massive $500 million offer on his table from Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo is a free agent going into the January transfer window. Reports suggest that he still wants to play in the Champions League and is looking for a European club.
