Soccer stars often divulge themselves in business, along with playing soccer. Wrexham forward Ollie Palmer is no exception to it. The striker and his business partner started WXM Clothing a few months back after Palmer moved to Wrexham. The clothing brand has garnered good business since its inception and is now going to different countries other than Wales.

Even the owners sport clothing from Palmer’s brand. Reynolds and McElhenney have always tried to be supportive of the players. Their support of Ollie Palmer’s business is the best example of it. “He [Ryan] FaceTimed me when I was in Vegas and we were chatting and he went out to get his breakfast in my clothes. He doesn’t wear it just for show – he actually enjoys wearing them. They know it’s good quality and they’ve been super supportive; I can never thank them enough for that,” Palmer said while speaking to Mirror. It shows Reynolds and McElhenney walk the talk.

Wrexham AFC went for the striker in the January 2022 transfer window. He became another star signing after Paul Mullin, who joined a club two tiers down. He was plying his trade in League One with AFC Wimbledon when the Red Dragons approached the striker.

His signing was an instant hit as he notched 15 goals in the National League in the 2021-22 season. He went on to score 17 goals in the league this season. The striker formed a formidable partnership with Paul Mullin. It helped the club to get their hands on the National League title and earn a promotion to League Two. The fans will hope the partnership helps the club to achieve another promotion next season.
