The new NWSL season is around the corner, and the clubs are busy with their final preparations for the season. Many of them have released the rosters and new kits for the season, while some are yet to release the jerseys for the season. Gotham FC became the recent addition to the clubs, releasing its home kit for the season.

It is not only the new season for the club but also a new kit along with a new coach. Gotham FC will travel to Los Angeles on the opening day of the NWSL. They will take on Angel City FC in their opening fixture on March 26. The Kevin Durant co-owned franchise will look to make amendments to the last season, where they finished last in the table.

NBA superstar Kevin Durant invested in the club last year. Thirty Five Ventures, a company owned by Durant and his partner Rich Kleiman, invested in minority stakes in the club. It is his second investment in the soccer club. He previously invested in the MLS franchise Philadelphia Union in 2020. However, his club’s new jersey has excited the fans over social media.

Fans are excited about the new home kit of the Gotham FC

Gotham FC dropped their home kit recently. It has full marks for its design, and fans also think the same. They have changed the turquoise sash of the recent jersey to the gradient stripes. The stripes are sharp and fresh on the black jersey. Fans are praising the jersey since its release.

One of the fans wrote on Twitter, “Holy s**t that’s fresh.” A few fans have ranked the jersey in the top three, while many believe it is the best jersey released in recent times. One fan thinks it is winning the 2023 NWSL kit.
