Over the years, Cristiano Ronaldo has enjoyed a stellar domestic career. The striker played for some of the best clubs in the world. The 38-year-old has played for the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, thus winning many accolades with all the sides he has represented over the years.

Speaking about his former sides, it seems Manchester United and Real Madrid are enjoying a decent season so far. Both clubs are doing just fine without their key man. However, the same cannot be said for his former side, Juventus.

The Seria A giants are enduring tough times and have a huge financial burden hanging over their heads. The Old Lady still owes $21 million to their former account no. 7. However, it seems another former player of Juve is set to knock on the doors of the club.

Paulo Dybala gives Juventus an ultimatum

After Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala is the player to whom the Old Lady owes a pretty good amount. The Argentinian is demanding his unpaid $3.1 million in wages from his former team. The player had previously sent a warning to the club, but nothing has happened until now.

Now the 29-year-old is set to sue Juventus for around $54 million, which is the difference between the contract he signed with the Turin club and his current deal with AS Roma. Reports suggest that Dybala has given Juventus an ultimatum to pay the wages until April. Else, the striker will sue the Seria A side.

His representative has told the prosecutors about the action. “I think I will pursue two paths, act both based on the failed renewal and based on the protective writings signed with the second maneuver.”

Dybala had reportedly signed an undisclosed contract with the Turin club, which offered him a grant of $3.1 million regardless of his stay at the club. However, the club signed Dusan Valahovic, with Dybala forced to leave the club and join rivals AS Roma.

Juventus still owes its former player an immense sum of around $21 million. They may have sold Ronaldo to Manchester United in 2021, yet they have failed to pay his remaining wages.

Juventus is currently under investigation by the FIGC and the Prosecutor in Italy for financial irregularities. UEFA also started a separate investigation against the Serie A giants. The misconduct led to the resignation of the president and the board of directors last November.

Moreover, the Italian League sanctioned a 15-point deduction for the Bianconeri. This has left the club in shambles as they have moved to seventh place in the league. Moreover, it seems the misery is set to follow the old lady, as Dybala is keen to take legal action against the club.
