Reynolds was on a Live Kelly and Michael show, co-hosted by another NFL legend, Michael Strahan. He spoke about Favre on the show. “I was at Super Bowl. I was at San Francisco,” the Deadpool star said. The Super Bowl environment amazed him. He added, “It was pretty cool. It was amazing over there.”

Wrexham co-owner met Favre during Super Bowl. Reynolds spoke about what the feeling was after meeting him. He said, “I got to meet Brett Favre. I love Brett Favre. I agree he’s been my hero since I was little kid.” Seven years after sharing his admiration for the American Football legend, the priorities have changed for Reynolds. He is now a co-owner of a soccer club with Rob McElhenney.

Now the focus of the Canadian actor is completely on Wrexham AFC, who recently moved up a division after winning the National League title. The Hollywood duo has already increased the stature of the club as evidenced by their trip to the US this summer.
