This news came to light after his former teammate and Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema got injured and is set to be out until the World Cup ends. As a result, the Portuguese star could likely leave his current club, Manchester United, in the transfer window in January. The English club has already started the process of canceling his two-year deal.

As per reports, Chelsea, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid are in the race to acquire his services. However, Cristiano Ronaldo has been wanting to reunite with his former club, Real Madrid, as he had the best records in his 9 years with Real Madrid, winning several trophies.
