Every sports professional has a hobby that they like to practice in the off-season. For many sports professionals, that hobby is playing golf. While most of them play golf for fun, a few of them have actually turned good at the sport. Fans usually follow sports players not only for their performances on the pitch. In the off-season, fans take a keen interest in getting to know what their favorite player does during their vacation. Michael Jordan is also a huge fan of golf and used to play during the off-season.

Basketball legend, Michael Jordan was also known for playing golf in his off-season. While being possibly one of the greatest to ever play basketball, MJ is also quite popular for his golf swing.

Recently, American soccer star, Alex Morgan posted a video of herself playing golf in her off-season.

What did Alex Morgan post about?

Alex Morgan posted a carousel of pictures that highlighted what she’s been doing in the off-season. As part of that carousel, Morgan has also posted pictures of her family and kids. Seeing the personal side of your favorite athlete is quite heart-warming. Most athletes are known for their demeanor on the field. Such posts just add that personal touch to a fan’s journey.

The soccer star did a really good job while she was teeing off at the golf course. Morgan kept a very steady head and posture. Along with that, her swing seemed so smooth and effortless. That was quite a good shot to take for someone who doesn’t spend a lot of time at the golf course.

How good was Michael Jordan at golf?

Everybody knows how much of a legend Michael Jordan is to basketball. While the basketball veteran never played professional golf, many pro golfers have previously revealed that playing against Michael Jordan wasn’t easy.

American professional golfer, Rickie Fowler once spoke about his experience playing golf with MJ. While in conversation with Slow News Day, Fowler quoted, “I’m lucky enough to call him a friend, and we play a decent amount. I’ll probably try and play with him here a couple of times in the next week-and-a-half before I go out to the tournament”.

He continued, “I think it’s very beneficial for me. One, you’re playing against MJ, one of the most clutch guys there is. He’s good, especially when you get him around the greens and putting. He’ll putt anyone straight up”.

While MJ was not the most skilled at golf, many professional golfers have said that playing with him was not easy at all. Whenever you play with MJ you always have to put forward your A-Game. Other NBA stars like Stephen Curry, Kyle Korver, Klay Thompson, and many more are known for their golfing abilities outside basketball.
