Alex Morgan, Serena Williams, and Canelo Alvarez Hit the Links for $118.4 Billion Worth Firm’s Brand in an Insane Super Bowl Ad

Every sports fan is excited for the annual Super Bowl game coming up on 12 February 2023. However, the sports world was taken aback after a set of really funny Super Bowl ads surfaced on the internet. These bunch of ads featured quite a few renowned sports stars like Serena Williams, Alex Morgan, Canelo Alvarez, and many more. Quite a few fans had a good chuckle ahead of the grand Super Bowl coming up in February.

These ads were inspired by ‘Caddyshack’, an American sports comedy film that was released in the 1980s.

Serena Williams is featured in another hit Super Bowl ad!

After watching these ads, a few older sports fans would have drawn a connection between these ads and ‘Caddyshack’ from the 1980s. The first teaser included Brian Cox and Serena Williams. Brian Cox seems to have taken up Ted Knight’s role from Caddyshack. Brian Cox and Serena Williams then tee off one after another. Cox then successfully manages to putt the ball during his second attempt.

However, to everyone’s surprise, Serena Williams channeled her inner Ty Webb and used her golf club like a pool cue. The advertisement then ends with the text “Bushwood Country Club”, while mimicking the actual Super Bowl date, “reopening 02.12.2022”.

Alex Morgan and Canelo Alvarez’s ads were fairly shorter than the previous one. Morgan’s ad opens with the USWNT star pouring herself a chilled glass of Michelob Ultra. Canelo Alvarez’s ad has him driving a beverage cart with Michelob Ultra stocked to the brim. Both ads end with a QR code that the viewers can scan and order their crates of beer to their homes.

Anheuser-Busch is an American brewing company that owns major global beer brands. Four of those major brands were set to have a total of three minutes of air time as advertisements for the Super Bowl. One of the four brands was Michelob Ultra. However, this is not Michelob Ultra’s first time rocking the sports universe.

Every year, the new Super Bowl ads surely top the previous ones!

The Super Bowl ads have just gotten better over the years. Last year’s Super Bowl ad also included renowned sports stars like Serena Williams, Alex Morgan, Brooks Koepka, and many more. The theme of last year’s ad was more centralized around The Big Lebowski, i.e. Bowling. All the sports were at their bowling alley, ready to throw their respective sports ball rather than a bowling ball.

Following everyone’s first throw, the commotion suddenly stops after they hear Serena Williams walking in. The tennis star has worn a purple jumpsuit and everyone at the bowling alley goes silent. The ad ends when Steve Buscemi who’s playing Donny Kerabatsos’ character, says, “Game Time”.
