Football season is here to stay. Currently, two massive football tournaments are going on, the biggest sporting event in the Olympics and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. While the Olympics continue, we are only a day away from the much awaited Finals of USA vs Mexico.

The Gold Cup has been a cracker of tournament so far. From teams like Canada making a deep run to Jamaica making deep runs, the cup tournament has been one of a kind.

But two teams have stood out of the rest, the USA and Mexico who have made it to the Finals. A familiar finals matchup in the work, this Gold Cup might be in for an exciting end.

Where to watch the Gold Cup Final Between USA vs Mexico?

USA and Mexico have had an incredible past in the Gold Cup. Often the regular finalists in the bi-annual event, only once in the Gold Cup history has a team apart from Mexico and USA have captured the silverware.

The rivals have met a total of six times in the Finals where Mexico have won in 5 battles. Given the history between the US and Mexico, this Gold Cup Final is must-watch and is set to be played in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

This game will be played at 8:30 PM ET on August 1st. Fans across the US can view this game in multiple platforms. For TV viewers, it will broadcast the Finals in FS1, Univision and TUDN.

For fans logged in to the web, the game can be live-streamed using multiple sites like Fubo TV, YouTube TV, the Fox Sports app to name a few. Scheduled to be played in a jam-packed arena of 60000 fans, expect to see some firecrackers in the game.

The road to Finals for both the teams hasn’t been easy. Team USA who are featuring MLS veterans like Gyasi Zardes and Kellyn Acosta, barely managed to defeat a resilient Jamaican side in the quarters, courtesy of a 83rd minute goal by Matthew Hope. The trend continued in the semifinals against Qatar as they scarped through to the Finals.

Mexico meanwhile had a comfortable victory against Honduras in quarters. But the semifinals against Canada was a different case all-together. With the score tied at 1-1, the game looked like it was headed for extra time. But Atletico midfielder Hector Herrera scored in the 9th minute of added time, leading his team to the Finals.

Given what these teams have come through, a win will be the ultimate goal. While USA will be eager to avenge their 2019 loss, Mexico will continue to build on streak against USA. Who do you think will win the Gold Cup?
