37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo is an idol and inspiration for many as he is still at the pinnacle of world football. Even after almost two decades as a professional, he has been competing at the top. However, the end of his career is near and he will have to hang his boots someday.
Recently, during an exclusive interview with DAZN, the Manchester United forward talked about his retirement.
He said, “It’s hard to say that I don’t want to win more. If I’m at a club and I’m part of a national team that gives me the opportunity to win more, then why not? I know that I’m not going to be playing for many more years, hopefully about four or five more years, we’ll see. But I want to win more.”

From winning La Liga to Premier League, from winning UEFA Champions League to the Euros, the Portuguese international has experienced it all.
Coming to the later stages of his playing career, CR7 is not giving up yet. One trophy that he definitely wants to add to his incredible trophy cabinet is the FIFA World Cup.
Also, having signed for Manchester United in 2021, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will try to take the Red Devils to the top of European football once again before he retires. Given Ralf Rangnick’s team’s current performances, it will be very difficult, but not impossible.
Can Cristiano Ronaldo lead Manchester United to European Glory?
During his first spell at the club under Sir Alex Ferguson, Ronaldo got his hands on the UEFA Champions League trophy in 2008. But things have changed drastically following Sir Alex’s retirement.
When Cristiano Ronaldo stunned everyone last year by returning to Old Trafford, everyone thought Manchester United will have their hands on silverware this season. However, the cracks and problems are still evident in United’s play, and the Red Devils might again go trophyless this season.
