Things aren’t going as well at Paris Saint Germain as everyone would have presumed. The French team had one of the greatest transfer windows this year, after signing Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi for free, among other superstars.
However, according to a report from Marca, Messi, and Ramos don’t have the best relationship in the dressing room. The Spaniard does have an amazing relationship with the rest of the PSG squad, but his bond with Messi is just “cordial.” Additionally, Messi too is on good terms with his Barcelona teammate Neymar Jr., and his Argentinian compatriot, Angel di Maria.

The reason for this is understandable, as Ramos and Messi have been fierce rivals in Spain for over a decade. Both of them captained their teams against each other for several El Clasicos and will find it hard to let go of all the animosity.
Moreover, both Messi and Ramos have failed to do much on the pitch. Ramos is coming back from an injury, while Messi is finding it hard to adapt to a new league. Nevertheless, the Argentinian forward has done amazingly where it matters the most, in the UEFA Champions League.

Paris Saint Germain and their performances in the UCL
While they are in second place in their UCL group, PSG’s performances haven’t been convincing at all. Messi’s goals have helped them clinch a few points, but they don’t look like the world-beaters a squad like theirs should look like.
The onus is on PSG’s manager Mauricio Pochettino to get the squad together and help them get their form back before the next stage of the UCL starts. PSG have been looking for their first UCL title for a long time now. If they don’t win it this season, it could well be the end of Pochettino’s reign at the club.
