Juventus is having a torrid time in their league after selling their top scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo, in the summer transfer window. They even sacked Andrea Pirlo, to appoint their former manager, Massimiliano Allegri; a move hasn’t worked out as per their expectations.
However, things are completely different in the UEFA Champions League. Juventus have 12 points from five UCL matches and are second in their group, behind Chelsea, because of their goal difference. Notably, they did beat Chelsea at home, but lost to them in the second match by a shambolic scoreline of 4-0, putting them in danger of finishing second. Nevertheless, they have already qualified for the knockout stages of the competition.
