Few South American players have impacted the Premier League as Sergio Aguero has. The Argentinian striker played in England for only 10 years, but he found himself breaking record after record every season and winning almost everything that he could win with Manchester City.
Whether it was his iconic winner against Queens Park Rangers on the final day of the 2011-12 season or several of his goals against the English big six, Aguero has done it all for City. Hence, it is only fair that the club does everything that it can to help him when he’s down.

Sergio Aguero announces his retirement from international football
The Argentine moved to FC Barcelona this year and could only play four games for the club. Regardless, Aguero was able to step up to the plate and score Barca’s only goal in the El Clasico. Disaster struck afterward as he was taken off in the first half against Alaves after experiencing chest pain.
Things went from bad to worse as he had to announce his retirement from football in a press conference with FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta. He can look back on his career with a lot of pride, but everyone was sad that it all had to end that way.
