Manchester United are having another terrible season right now. It’s now the fifth consecutive year without a trophy for the Reds, and fans aren’t happy at all. They have endured season after season of mediocrity since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure and see no end in sight.

Another worrying point for the club will be the antics of academy graduate Paul Pogba. The French world cup winner started the season in wonderful form, getting seven assists in just four games. However, he got injured after that and only returned in 2022, shattering the little hope that fans had for him to turn it up for their club.

However, that’s not the end of it, as Pogba’s contract is going to expire in just three months. He is Manchester United’s most expensive signing, and now the club is in danger of losing him for free. Moreover, he gave an interview to Le Figaro recently, which sent alarm bells ringing at Old Trafford.

Pogba revealed that he hasn’t been satisfied in five years at United and wants to win trophies. It doesn’t matter to him if he wins them at United or somewhere else.

You have to be honest, the last five seasons have not satisfied me – really not at all. This year it is dead, we won’t win anything. Whether it is with Manchester United or at another club, I want to win trophies,” Pogba said.

He also talked about his performances with his country and revealed that he feels comfortable with his position. French National team coach, Didier Deschamps. gave him a role that he thrives in, and Pogba said that he doesn’t have the same role with Manchester United or any role at all.

Pogba also added that it’s hard to stay consistent at United because of the constant changes at the club.

It’s simple with France, I play and I play in my position – I know my role and I feel the confidence of the coach and the players. At Manchester United do I really have a role? I ask the question but I don’t have an answer,” Pogba revealed.
