Spider-Man: Miles Morales hit the stores with the launch of the PS5. One of the most anticipated titles of the year, Miles Morales has some pretty big shoes to fill. But seeing the reaction of the community towards the game, it looks like Miles Morales is doing its (or, his) part to live up to the expectations set by the 2018 hit, Marvel’s Spider-Man.

The game just rolled out its 1.04 update patch that has brought quite a few changes to the game, both major and minor. However, what is weird is that devs dropped this 1.04 update patch a week after dropping the 1.03 update patch. The 1.03 update patch was a small one and made some minor fixes to the game, like:

  • General stability fixes
  • Performance improvements on PS4 and PS4 Pro
  • Devs made some optimizations to the overall gameplay
  • Fixed framerate drop issues

Insomniac Games rolled out the current patch without any prior announcement. This one is a relatively small patch but has made some important changes to the game. Let us delve in and find out.

Latest update on Spider-Man: Miles Morales allows players to change the weather

As we all know, the line of PlayStation Spiderman games is all about the gameplay experience. The games have won our hearts through the beautiful visuals and the entire experience of being the wall-crawler. And now, you can set the mood for your web-swinging sessions by changing the weather!

Note that the option to change the weather of a location will only be available after completing the story mode of the game.

In addition to this, devs have added the option of generating subtitles with black text on a white background. Along with this, devs have added various miscellaneous performance fixes and improved the stability of the game.

However, devs have not yet addressed the in-game glitch that caused Spidey to turn into a brick or a frozen puddle and caused the game to crash soon after. But knowing that they delivered a banger of a game amidst these trying times, we are ready to cut the devs some slack and wait for a fix to this glitch.
