Wawrinka v Shapovalov: Predictions

Keeping in mind the current performance and form, Shapovalov clearly has an upper hand. But, on his day, Wawrinka has the potential of beating anyone, on any surface. He has displayed some magnificent forehand winners at this event, and his accurate service will also cause pain to the Canadian. He has to be careful there.

It is the long rallies where Wawrinka might struggle. He hasn’t won many points there in recent times. He has just managed to survive in both his previous matches. Shapovalov. on the other hand, enjoys long rallies. He can actually cover the court easily as well, a thing that again troubles the 35-year-old Swiss.

Overall, both the players look in great shape and form. It will be intriguing to see who will be able to keep his calm and move ahead to the semi-finals. Fans are certainly looking forward to an appealing game of tennis.
