Stefanos Tsitsipas Lifts His Social Media Ban After a Month

World Number six tennis player, Stefanos Tsitsipas announced about him abandoning the social media platforms last month, but the Greek lad is back with an Instagram post during the Rolex Paris Masters 2019. He has started posting actively on Instagram and is regular with his updates.

Let them be them, let us be us. All we do is think about the feelings that we hide, as we look towards the sky. Just keep breathing and seek what sets your soul on fire, it’s all about desire. I am off. All these posts, are passed through me but it’s not me. So I’m feeling great. I feel much more connected than before with people that I care about. I spend more quality time. I feel more like a human and more like me than ever before. I feel like I can also concentrate more on the sport that I play, in a way trying to, yeah, spend more hours on the court instead of my phone,” the Athens native said a month ago. However, now Tsitsipas has broken is ‘no social media’ pledge. 

The Serb, Novak Djokovic crushed the NextGen player, Stefanos Tsitsipas under 58 minutes of time in the quarterfinals of Paris and later picked up his fifth crown in Bercy.

“Tsitsipas a very good player, he has improved and he’s very professional and trains a lot,” Djokovic said after steamrolling over the Greek in Paris. “That reflects positively on his game. He’s one of the best players in the world, so I’m looking forward to that challenge.”

The Serb considers the 21-year-old to be an ‘established’ tennis player. Also, the Greek sensation is a versatile tennis athlete who efficiently dwells on all the surfaces of the sport.

At ATP World Tour Finals 2019, Stefanos Tsitsipas will be opening against Daniil Medvedev on Monday. Previously, the duo has met five times in their career and the Greek lad is yet to establish his victory against the Russian wizard. In London, besides Medvedev, the Greek lad will be locking horns with Alexander Zverev and Rafael Nadal in the Group Stage matches.
