Six-time NBA All-star Stephen Curry broke his left hand during the game between Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.

This will be major blow for Warriors, who are already struggling to get going this season after just one win so far in their four games. The 2019/20 NBA season for one of the most decorated teams in the last decade was expected to be a little more tough with the kind of preseason trades. An injured Klay Thompson also did not help their cause. And an injury now to Curry, the player they were looking at to carry them, will not help as well.

Their fragilities were visible right from Game one on the opening night when they were blown away by a strengthened Los Angeles Clippers and the doubts on them only aggravated when they lost to Oklahoma City Thunder. Their only win so far in the season came against New Orleans Pelicans in their third game.

Now after their fourth game, they have bigger issues than their third loss in the form of Stephen Curry’s injury. It was reported that Curry will undergo a CT scan to determine whether he will need a surgery.

Talking about it in the post game press conference, Warriors manager Steve Kerr said: “Obviously it’s been a tough start for us on many levels, so we’re just trying to find our footing, and obviously this puts us in a tough spot, so we’ll assess it and go from there.”
