Fitness has to be pursued for a lifetime, and Schwarzenegger very well knows why. The bodybuilding legend who still grinds at the gym lifting weights considers rest to be a fatal pill. Hence Arnie resists lazing out in the bed even for a day.

Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t want to rust

Arnold Schwarzenegger persuades his followers with example. His fans are aware of his daily morning workouts at the Gold’s gym, but the Austrian Oak recently revealed the underlying mantra to get his daily dose of workout.

When the host, Pat McAfee, asked the ex-governor, “So, are you every day still lifting?” the 76-year-old elaborated on his daily workout schedule. “I go every day to the gym. I go on my bike; I ride down the Gold’s gym. I work out 45 minutes, and I ride the bike back, and that’s what I am gonna do every day.”

Par MacAfee appreciated Schwarzenegger’s fitness routine and said, “Yeah, some people need it.” But then Arnie shared the ultimate advice, “We always need it. Always remember, you rest, you rust. It’s that simple.”
