Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Robinson and others involved in the best quadrilogies in boxing 

There have been a few instances in boxing where two opponents were so evenly matched that they faced each other more than three times. We take a look back a few such fights. 

Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez 

The first fight between the two men ended in a draw. 'Pac-Man' won the next two fights. However, it was Marquez who had the last laugh as he knocked out Pacquiao in their fourth and final fight. 

Sugar Ray Robinson vs Jake LaMotta

Robinson and LaMotta fought four times. Robinson won the first, lost the second and then won the final two fights to win the series 3-1. 

Willie Pep vs Sandy Saddler 

Saddler won three of their four-fight series  the final fight between the two men is considered the one of the dirtiest fights in boxing history. 

Rafael Marquez vs Israel Vazquez 

An epic four-fights between the two men ended with two wins apiece. Out of the four fights, only one went the distance.

Sugar Ray Robinson vs Gene Fullmer 

Robinson's record in four fights against Fullmer is one win, two losses, and one draw. Their last fight ended in a unanimous decision win in favor of Fullmer.
