After being removed from the racing calendar last year because of the COVID pandemic, United States Grand Prix
returns this season.

After forcing the pole-sitter Nico Rosberg wide, Lewis Hamilton took the lead at the 2015 US GP. The German who took the lead on lap 18 lost the lead again to his teammate after sliding off track. As a result, the Briton secured his third championship title.
The 2005 United States Grand Prix is regarded as one of the most controversial in the history of the sport after 14 drivers withdraw due to safety concerns over the Michelin-made tires on their vehicles.
Verstappen passed Raikkonen for third place on the last lap of the 2017 US GP, but the Red Bull driver was penalized by the stewards for exceeding track limits. As a result, the Dutchman was replaced by Kimi at the podium ceremony at the last minute.
On the opening lap of the 2006 US GP, Montoya nudged his teammate Kimi Räikkönen into a spin. The Columbian driver then clouted Jenson Button, whose front right tire got caught by Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld, who was launched into a triple barrel roll.
With a just couple of laps to go, after a few seconds of wheel-to-wheel Max Verstappen gets the better of Lewis Hamilton at the 2018 United States Grand Prix to finish second just behind Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen.
