F1 paddock will head toward the Silverstone this weekend for round 10 of the season with the British Grand Prix.

Hamilton suffered a tire puncture on the last lap of the race, barely getting his car across the finish line in time. Verstappen had pitted just before Hamilton's blowout to get the fastest lap of the race, but the decision costing him a potential victory.
Schumacher illegally overtook pole-sitter Damon Hill on the formation lap and a black was shown to the German, which should have resulted in instant disqualification. Eventually, Hill went on to claim a crucial win. While Schumacher finished P2 was disqualified and later handed a two-race ban.
Schumacher was at the center of controversy again four years later when he illegally passed Alexander Wurz under a yellow flag, which resulted in a stop-and-go penalty but stewards announced his punishment with two laps left. In the final lap, Schumacher entered the pits to serve his penalty but had already crossed the start-finish line and won the race.
Lewis Hamilton arrived at his home race P4 in the drivers’ standings but left on top after displaying one of his outstanding performances in F1. The Knight finishing the race almost 70 seconds ahead of second-placed Nick Heidfeld.
Nigel Mansell was forced to pit for a new set of tyres after reporting tremors on his Williams. With 30 laps remaining he was behind his teammate and fierce rival Nelson Piquet.The chase appeared impossible but Mansell overtook Piquet with only 2 laps left.
