MCLAREN CEO ZAK BROWN SHARED SOME VIEWS ON RED BULL. HE BELIEVES RED BULL DOES NOT GIVE ENOUGH OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUNG DRIVERS. THIS COMES AFTER THE RED BULL ACADEMY LET GO OF CURRENT INDYCAR DRIVER PATO O’ WARD.

“they’re a bit brutal,” He stated, “carlos [sainz] is a great example. Daniel had already proven how good he was but he chose to leave. They move through a lot of drivers.”
Pato O' Ward was a Mexican who was a part of the Red Bull Academy. He had just 3 F2 races to prove himself. Pato failed to get the required points to compete in F1.
After Pato O' Ward failed to compete, Red Bull released him from the Academy within the same year.
Zak Brown feels that they turned a blind eye towards his potential. But, O' Ward might land a test for McLaren F1.
