What does the former caddie of Tiger Woods think about LIV Golf?

Billy Foster is one of the most recognized caddies in the world.

He has been carrying the bag of Matthew Fitzpatrick since 2018 and even helped the golfer win last year’s US Open. While his client may currently be part of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, Foster viewed his positive thoughts on LIV Golf.

What did Foster say?

“I can understand and I have no qualms with any of the players going”, said the caddie recently while speaking to GolfMagic. “I can understand why they’ve gone”.

Billy had more to add.

Billy then said how the defectors jumped to the Breakaway Tour since their idea is ‘play less and for a lot more money’. He also added how older golfers around the age of 40 shouldn’t be blamed for their move.

After sympathizing with LIV Golf, Billy Foster, then verbally attacked the PGA Tour for suspending the defectors.

He said,

“It’s a bit of a shame for the game that you’ve lost a few top, top players and they’re banned from the PGA Tour”. Nonetheless, Foster ended up claiming it would take ‘two or three years’, for both Tours to have peace among themselves.
