DeChambeau was once found in violation of rules while playing at the Memorial Tournament in Ohio. And while the rules officials declared that he was in violation, DeChambeau did not accept it all too well. He was persistent in asking for a second call.
Spiranac had said, “I used to be a big Bryson fan. But in the last few weeks, it’s been really hard to be a Bryson fan. He’s crossed that line from being different to being a d**k. The way he acted to that rules official was so uncalled for. She continued and asked, “Who do you think you are? Seriously, who do you think you are?” The social media sensation did not shy away from calling out DeChambeau for his treatment of the rules official. She made sure to make her stance on the issue clear.
Bryson DeChambeau, also known as “the Mad Scientist,” has recently made headlines for his infamous fall and has been widely ridiculed. DeChambeau tripped and fell while walking on a court. His reaction following the fall, however, is what has made him the focus of all memes and jokes.
Paige said, “Honestly, what’s wrong with Bryson? Like the only times I’ve been cut by a rope, ‘Oh, there’s a rope in my face.’ He truly acted as if he was severely injured. There was a second that he couldn’t carry on.”
