The UFC's performance institute is a state-of-the-art training facility built by the UFC in Las Vegas. The performance institute is frequently used by the fighters and has some of the best facilities in the world. We share a few things you might not know about the project.

Area and Cost

The facility was opened in May 2017. The property cost around $14 million to build and is spread across 30,000 square feet. 

Personalized Nutrition 

The UFC PI features in-house nutritionists and a restaurant that caters to fighters. They also make tailor-made nutrition plans for any fighter that reaches out for help. 

Weight Training 

The Performance Institute has a state of the art weight lifting room with the best in class equipment for strength training. 

Underwater Tredmill 

The facility houses an underwater treadmill that helps fighters in stamina and recover. It reportedly costs $400,000. 

Dexa Scan Machine and recovery room 

The facility also houses a Dexa Scan machine that costs a whopping $100,000. It also houses a cryotherapy chamber.
