Weight Before injury 
at UFC 264

Conor McGregor injured his shin during the fight against Dustin Poirrier at UFC 264. The Lightweight bout featured McGregor at 155 lbs. 

The Injury


After the Injury, McGregor lost a lot of weight. During the surgery, McGregor lost muscle mass as he was required to rest and abstain from training.

Lifting Weights

McGregor was asked to not train for MMA by doctors. His Coach John Kavanagh revealed that McGregor started lifting heavy weights because that's all he could do that time.

Conor has build enormous muscle mass since his injury. Conor McGregor wants to walk at 170 lbs at his return. The former lightweight and featherweight champion wants to fight for the welterweight belt next.
