The Unexpected Exit

Cody Ware, a promising talent in the NASCAR Cup Series, found his career abruptly halted in 2023. After participating in seven races, he faced an indefinite suspension due to legal complications. However, as the dust settled and the charges were dismissed, NASCAR didn't hesitate to reinstate him.

The Anticipated Return

With the past behind him, Ware is now eyeing a return to the racetrack. As per Bob Pockrass, Ware is set to participate in several Cup races in 2024. He will be sharing the wheel of the #15 Ford car with Kaz Grala starting this April. However, the question remains: Who will take the helm at Daytona in February?

The Future of the #15 Ford Car

While Ware is expected to compete in 10 out of the 36 races and Grala in 25, the driver for Daytona is still a mystery. With a pool of potential candidates, including the likes of Riley Herbst, Brennan Poole, Gray Gaulding, Andy Lally, and Ryan Newman, the anticipation is high. There's even a chance for 2009 Formula One champion Jenson Button to make a surprise appearance at the Daytona 500.
