A Trip to the Past
Kelley Earnhardt experienced a wave of nostalgia during her visit to the North Wilkesboro Speedway. She said, "I went there last year. I loved the feeling that I got when I drove up to North Wilkesboro. I cried, I cried tears last year."
Childhood Memories Resurface
The Speedway holds a special place in Kelley's heart as it was a significant part of her childhood. She reminisced, "I spent my time as a kid in that empty field you know hanging on the walls, sitting on the back of a pick-up truck."
Kelley is a strong advocate for the restoration of the North Wilkesboro Speedway. She expressed her desire for others to experience the same emotions she did, stating, "You know, just being there was very emotional for me and so I want people to have that experience."
