Hamlin crashed into Elliott back in 2017
In Martinsville, back in 2017, Hamlin bumped Elliott on the back. Many Elliott fans blamed Hamlin for the crash, which proved to be costly for Elliott.
Later, an angry Elliott fan confronted Hamlin after the race. Many security people held him back before he could get his hands on Hamlin. While they were taking him away, he could be heard saying, “A dirty veteran.” Hamlin looked hurt after hearing those harsh words.
