After Kyle Busch Debacle, Ex-Daytona 500 Winner Accuses Joe Gibbs in Fresh Sponsorship Conundrum

NASCAR

Kyle Busch is currently racing for the Richard Childress Racing team. Previously, he was with Joes Gibbs Racing.

Unfortunately, a sponsorship debacle ended his partnership with JGR. Now, it seems like, JGR is making the same mistake once again with another driver and fans are not happy about it.

Why did JGR terminate Busch’s contract?

After racing for 15 years with JGR, Busch finally parted ways with the team after the 2022 season. Notably, he failed to get a sponsorship deal with M&M. Previously, Wrigley and Mars have been his primary sponsors. However, they decided to withdraw at the end of the 2022 season, which eventually ended his contract with JGR.

JGR is making the same mistakes again

2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne recently returned to racing with JGR after a long hiatus. As he was looking to secure a full-time deal with JGR, sponsors backed out. He said, “And then that didn’t happen; last minute, the sponsor backed out that they had… Actually, I think might have got catfished, I’m not sure.”
