Backlash Surrounds Bubba Wallace After His Sarcastic “Respect” Jab at Brad Keselowski Following Bump & Run

Bubba Wallace had a great race on Sunday, as he finished 2nd in the All-Star race. However, there was a fiery battle between him and Brad Keselowski on Saturday for the pole position. 

Wallace and Keselowski bumped each other on Saturday. However, Wallace had a sarcastic comment about showing respect, which drew some negative reactions from fans.

On Saturday Brad Keselowski bumped into Bubba Wallace. However, there was not much of an argument between the two drivers, as they chose to handle it sportingly with a high-five after the race.

When asked about the high-five after the race, Wallace said, “Those guys preach about respect, so I went up to show my respect… No, I’m just kidding. No, it was fun, was just playing racing. He gave me probably five laps too many. So I appreciate that so that’s kind of what, that’s okay.”

Keselowski reacts after Wallace’s comments


“Yeah I mean my car was a little faster, and I didn’t need to recommend a heat race, that’s for sure. And you don’t want to give up the spot which I wasn’t either, so that’s what I think we’re all here for.”

Fans take a dig at Wallace

After his sarcastic comment about showing respect, fans took a dig at the 23XI Racing driver, as one fan said, “That’s hilarious. If he run his car as much as he does his mouth he might be descent as a driver.” Another user wrote, “Why even speak with Dubba go find the winner of the heat race?” One more fan said, “Cry-Baby again.”
