DURING STAGE 2 OF THE NASCAR CUP SERIES RACE IN PHOENIX, 23XI RACING DRIVER BUBBA WALLACE RANTED ON THE RADIO TO HIS SPOTTER. AND, IN THE RECENT EPISODE OF THE DOOR BUMPER CLEAR PODCAST, THIS SUBJECT CAME UP AND FREDDIE KRAFT, WALLACE’S SPOTTER, WAS ASKED WHAT THE DEAL WAS WITH HIS DRIVER’S ANGER.
Bubba started 27th in Phoenix and made his way up the top 20. However, a late pit spot took him back a lap down or more for most of the race.
A frustrated Bubba said, “I am trying to stay f***ing calm, but I am f***ing over it. ... F***ing terrible.”
Freddie Kraft revealed that it just wasn't the best day for 23XI racing. In fact, he added, it wasn't a good day for any of the Toyotas.
