The Rivalry That Started It All

The racetrack rivalry between Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastain has been a hot topic since their clash at the World Wide Technology Raceway in 2022. Their aggressive encounters continued into this year, with a notable incident at the Phoenix Raceway.

Hamlin's Controversial Podcast Admission

After the Phoenix Raceway incident, Hamlin was fined $50,000 and docked 25 points by NASCAR. Unfazed, Hamlin declared on his podcast, 'Actions Detrimental,' "That was worth it though. Let me tell you, because that 50 grand, wherever it was, the points didn’t matter until they did."

Dale Jr's Concerns

Hamlin's cavalier attitude towards the penalties has left Dale Earnhardt Jr., owner of Dirty Mo Media, which hosts Actions Detrimental, worried about Hamlin's future on the podcast.

Junior expressed his fears, saying, "I was in Texas on vacation with Amy and her family when all that went down, and I really thought I was like ‘Denny’s never podcasting again. Denny’s over. He’s going to come here and go, ‘Look, this was fun’."
