Danica Patrick has been a trailblazer for women in motorsport. After retiring from the sport, she has been doing a lot of entrepreneurial stuff.

Meanwhile, she recently came across a piece of weird news regarding short people, which got on her nerves. She took to social media and blasted the ridiculous news. 

Danica Patrick’s historical career

Patrick broke the stereotypes in NASCAR and IndyCar, as she became the only woman to win the Indy Japan 300 race in 2008. She also became the first woman to win a pole position in a Cup Series race. Her historical career ended in 2018, as she decided to step away. 


Patrick inspired a lot of female drivers 

There were some female drivers before Patrick, like Shawna Robinson, Marta Leonard, Mara Reyes, and many more. However, Patrick ignited a fire inside many women with her achievements on and off the track. She inspired some of the new female drivers, like Hailie Deegan, Jolynn Wilkinson, Toni Breidinger, and many more.

Patrick got upset with a weird news 

In her Instagram Story, she shared a news where two anchors were discussing psychopathic behavior among short people. This news offended Patrick, as she is also 5’2”. She wrote, “Ya so be careful! I mean, the news is so ridiculous.” Certainly, Patrick had to raise her voice regarding this unfair generalization.
